This is a Jacob’s Ladder Magic Box I learned to make yesterday at a workshop taught by Alice Armstrong at Etui, a wonderful art venue and shop in West Berkeley (https://www.etuishop.com/). It’s based on a Victorian toy design. When you lift open the top from one side, you find one compartment, and when you open it from the other side you find – magic! – two compartments! Dimensions: approximately 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″ Materials: 4-ply museum board, mulberry paper, PVA glue.
